LPN - Observation T6 - Now Hiring
LPN will be paired with a RN or UNL to assist with the patient load.
LPN tasks may include oral meds, IV piggyback meds, trach care, dressing changes, wound care, hourly rounding, reinforcing patient education and completion of discharges.
LPNs will document assessments and care plans after the RN has completed the initial assessment and initiated the care plan.
Administers medications, including IV piggybacks and fluids but excluding IV Push medicationsDocuments assessments on assigned patients, given that an RN has charted the initial assessmentCharts on care plans, which the RN has opened; will have a RN open any new care plansCommunicates with providers to receive orders and coordinate care for patientCompletes dressing changes and wound careCompletes trach careInserts NG tubes and maintains feedings through NG tubeCares for and changes ostomiesReinforces education and discharge instructionsSalary:
$26 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
